Prof. Alexander Stomper

Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

I direct the ISQD ("Impacts and Imperfections") research group at HU Berlin. The group conducts research projects to analyze how climate change and climate policy affect financial markets, and how imperfections of these markets impact on the “real” economy as it adapts to global warming.

Werdegang

I studied at the University of Vienna, where I received my Habilitation in the year 2007. From 2007 to 2011, I taught at at MIT's Sloan School of Management and at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna, where I offered PhD courses in the Vienna Graduate School of Finance. In 2011, I moved to Berlin. I am also affiliated with the European Corporate Governance Institute.
